Yoga Nidra, or ‘the sleep of yogis,’ has been used for millennia to achieve alert relaxation and heightened inner awareness. A guided meditation conducted in savasana (supine pose), this practice engages non-judgmental presence and compassionate inward-looking to transform disturbances in the physical, emotional and mental fields, creating relaxation at the deepest levels.
This workshop includes brief self-reflective writing, yoga postures to ease the body and a 45-minute Yoga Nidra practice. Please bring a notepad and any physical props or padding you might need to stay comfortable. Preregistration is required by January 20.
