Training the Mind With Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, or “the sleep of the yogis” is an ancient practice that invokes relaxation at the physical, emotional and mental levels to clear away out-moded thought patterns and limiting behaviors. Through the systematic practice of Yoga Nidra, witness consciousness arises to reveal true seeing of one’s own being to encourage healing at the deepest levels, fostering acceptance, personal freedom, awareness and joy.
We will be lying down for 45 minutes to an hour, so please bring any props or padding that will keep you comfortable and focused. Please also bring a notepad or journal and a pen to take notes and for a short writing exercise.
